An Inspiring Classmate

This is a sad story about a boy who is my classmates. It concern my classmates at high school how he used his left over life.

His name is Gray. In our class, he is a funny boy. He always brings for us happy. I think Gray is a sunny boy, but something bad things is going to happen. One day he had a headache serious. So his mother brought him to the hospital. That was a bad news for them. He got cancer. They felt very sad. His mother was crying all the day. After a month, his disease became badly then before. His doctor told to his parents should be mentally prepared.

Gray knew his disease was serious, but he wanted do many thing. So Gray wrote a plan about his future. First of all, he wanted to come back to his school. That is a happy place for him. There are many lovely teachers and students. He really wanted to study with them. But after 20 days, he felt difficult for him to study. So he bad to came back home. Secondly he might stay at bed every day. But he didn’t give up to study , he read some books and used the internet to communicate with his friends.

In the end, he wrote many mails for different people. He wanted to tell them not be sad for him if one day he left. What a good student he was. That was pity for him.

One day when our class was studying in ours classroom, our teacher told to us he just left. I looked out of the window. The sky was blue. I think there will have a angel more in the heaven.

I told this story about my classmate just to show we should treasure ours life. We have many things need to do in the future.

A Story For All

I want to share the good story to you guys. This story has a deep meaning to make me strong my mind. The story is talk about my friend. He meets some problem in his life and finally he becomes a successful person. I will describe him how to tide over hard time in his life. And how to keep brave facing the problem than solve. It’s a great experience. So I want to share with you guys.

This story was happened in 2003. My friend his name is Robert. His father is a really good business man. He has a huge factory. They produce a lot of type material, such as iron and stainless product. They work with Japanese company for thirty years. It’s kind of cooperative business operation. The company runs really well.

One day, his father to be laid up, Robert has to help his family to in charge of their company. So, he has started to comprehend this knowledge about their produce process. Robert works with their workers all day. He tries to learn about all knowledge as soon as possible. Their worker also helps to him to learn. Obviously he knows, if he couldn’t support his family who can help them. His mother and Robert they need to work all day after than they also needs to take care his father in the hospital. This situation is real awful. His mother take care his father everyday. So, she got really tired. Robert still never gives up; because he think everything will be fine.

After six month, his father almost recovers than go back to work, but he can’t work likes before. So he started to teach his son how to run the good company. Robert already becomes a worker in the company. Finally, he became a leader of this team.

When I heard this story, I admire him so much. Fortunately, he passes this hard time in his life. Because he knows, never give up and facing of the problem is a best way to solve this type of the situation. This experience he shares with our friends, we know we got a great friend and he taught us. Never to flee the problem, face it. You will learn more from it. We heard he said. Now, he got married and he also has two children. Their company still operate very well.

I think everything in this life have name , and all these names came from a story . So I want to tell a story of the Crossan that is people eat , and drink coffee with it because it taste good . but have you ever thought who made it , or why did that make it like the crescent . Actually , the crossan is related to old story of Islamic Empire , and also all the religions have an emblem . what I want to say the crescent is the emblem of Islamic religion . But do you know the story of that crescent and the Crossan how they related to each other ?

First of all , about 200 years ago , all the Islamic countries used to be one country and one of the strongest countries . That called it , Empire ottoman and that country used to fight with the countries are not Islamic , so when they were fighting in Europe countries , and they were closed to get in Vienna which is capitol of Austria now . When they were out of Vienna ramparts , the leader decided to dig the land to get inside the city , so they did that , but while they were digging in, the baker in Vienna heard that some people were digging under his store , so he told the soldiers in Vienna that he heard something under his story. Then they soldiers of Austria were in fact waiting for the soldiers of Empire Ottoman to dig in the land , so the soldiers of Empire Ottoman were killed by Austria soldiers.

At that time, when they beat the Empire soldiers, the king of Austria invited the baker man who told the Austria soldiers about Empire soldiers were digging under the land. So the baker came to the king, and he made new bread, that bread he made, was like the crescent which emblem of Empire Ottoman. The baker wanted from people to eat it to celebrate victory. So , the people and the king there in Vienne ate it to celebrate the day that they beat the Empire of Ottoman.

Accident may not be a bad thing

Jennifer’s day started with a big accident, and only got worse. The accident was her own mistake.

One day, Jennifer was planning to take exciting trip. She went to exotic dancing club for woman. After that, she wanted to try something that she haven’t done yet before. She stayed there all the night and drank too much so that she didn’t go back home.

Fortunately, a man who danced with Jennifer drove her to a hotel for rest, because he didn’t know her address of house. When coming to the room, both of them had heavy buzz so they lost their mind and did something wrong. Something which they didn’t expect happened in the room, they had closely body contact.

When the sun rise, Jennifer woke up and found out that she was naked and the naked man lay behind her. She shocked and became crying. She didn’t know where it was, and where the man came from. The man woke up because of her exclaim. He had no idea what he can do, and just said sorry to her. It was the first time that Jennifer experienced of the “one night stay”. She wasn’t a wild girl. She never did that.

She was surprised that, and she regretted her fault.

Two months passed away, she almost forgot what happened in that day. She tried to concentrate on her job and she heard about the new boss in her office will come from her co-workers. When her new boss is coming into her office, she was very embarrassed.

Unexpectedly, the new boss is the man who stayed with her in that day. They were surprised. But the man said “Jennifer, I was sorry about that matter. However, I have thought you for two months from that day. I miss you. Maybe I love you, Jeniffer.” Could you give me a chance to take care of you.

Finally, she accepted the man’s request, they got married and they feel happiness.

Don't Believe Anybody

Before getting into the taxi, Mary didn't check her purse. When she reached her office, she naticed she didn't have her purse.
So, she told taxi driver what she were going to get her money in her office, but driver didn't believe her because he didn't know anything about her, so if she didn't come back to give money to him, he lost his money, so he told Mary, `Call your friends who is working this office and she/he should bring money !'

But, she didn't have her cellphone too!! So, she told to the driver. ` I can't call my friend because I didn't have cellphone too.' Intead of I'll give you my ring. This is very expensive and important to me. I'll bring money to here, please wait just 5 minutes!'

The taxi driver waited about 10 minutes, but she didn't came back to here yet, so he checked the ring and he noticed this ring was very cheap one. So, he rushed into pedestrians. Few minute later, the police came here and cought the taxi driver because he hurt 3 man and 2 woman, so they had to go to the hospital.

The taxi driver felt regret now. But it was to late. He couldn't go back in time.

Finally, the taxi driver had to live in the fail for 10 years long.

How she became a big fat woman

Before getting into the taxi, Mary didn’t check her purse. When she reached her office, she noticed she didn’t have any money in her purse! Mary felt embarrassed and worried. She had no choice, so she said to driver “Sorry sir, I forgot there’s no money in my purse. I really felt sorry”.

“Really? Or you just cheating” Said the driver. “I promise” Mary said lewdly.

Then the driver didn’t say anything. He thought she was cheating. So he said “please show me your purse” and Mary showed her purse. And she had no money. He said “I’m sorry. Ok, I believe you” Mary said “Could you give me your cell phone number? After I found money I will call you and give you money.”

After she got out the taxi. She felt hungry but she couldn’t buy breakfast. Then she saw the watch. It was time to begin the work. So, she went to office without breakfast. She felt hungry and didn’t want to do anything! So her boss fired her.

She walked home looking sad. At home, she found the bank card. Then, she went to the bank and took money from the ATM. After that, she called the driver and gave 100 dollar for him. And she went to supermarket, bought a lot of food to eat! She thought she can eat a horse now.

Finally, she ate too much. So, she put on a lot of weight and she became a big fat woman.

Jennifer's Day Ruined by ...

Jennifer's day started with a big accident and only got worse.The "accident " was her own mistake.

First, she was busy int this morning because she was getting ready for moving house. It made her crazy. She was in serch a hurry her lost book for going school at 3 p.m. It was already 7:30p.m. She opened 5 boxes from the garage, but the book was't here. then, seh went upstairs to look at the bathroom and she didn't find if she looked at the kitchen and it was nothing there neither. It was 2:40p.m. She called friend, Echo, to ask if she forgot it in her house yesterday or not.

Echo knew that where was Jennifer's book but Echo was not kind so she lied. Echo said "I don't know ." so Jennifer gave pu to find book and then went to school. After she arrived the school, she nothiced that she wore the different shos each foot. One was the red shose but the other was black shoes. She was embarrassing.

Finally, she missed her class. Also, she didn't find her book too. When she was very angry on the street, she met Echo. Echo wanted to play with her just a joke. So, Jennifer was angry too much, but she couldn't show her feeling becasue she wanted to finish her luggages for moving . She needed her hands, They went to home, and set them before she moved house.

Befor getting into to the taxi, Mary didn't check her purse. When she reached her office, she noticed she didn't have any money in her purse!

She must have done something to escape this situation. But, she couldn't imagine any ideas, so she was so embrrassed. She asked a driver that she could pay him money later, but he refused her asking. And then she telephoned her boyfriend. Her boyfriend was woring, but he wanted to help her, so he told to Mary.

"Please pass the phone to the driver". and then her boy friend told the driver.

"Would you mind driving to my company. I will wait for you in front of the gate of the building. The driver said "That's ok." and he truned the car to the company with her.

Suddenly, the taxi driver felt uncompotable because he had had heart disease for a long long time. He needed the medicine, but he left them in his house. he must have taken them frequently. However, he didn't have them at that time.

She was eventually a nurse, so she tried to help him. Then she asked him to stop the car next to curb. After stopping the car by the curb, He passed out on the street, so she started to beat his chest strongly. He couldn't breath, so she was really embarrassed. She tired to give him CPR, but she made mistakes. She misunderstood how to give CPR. She pushed his stomach and he almost passed out again. She started to cry because he was killed by her. He didn't breath anymore. She called her boyfriend. He heard that, and then he put down the phone immediatly.

She was not a nurse anymore. she got some hurt by this situation. There was a page one article about her story. She finally suisided by herself. And Her boyfriend also suisided.

What a Monday!

Monday in the morning, Mary was very happy because it was her first day in her new job. She woke up very early, cleaned the house and she dressed the best clothes.It was raining and she had to call a taxi. She was very nervious.The traffic was terrible. When she needed to pay the taxi driver she noticed she did't have enough money.

She said to the taxi driver "I forgot to go to the bank yesterday, so i don't have enough money to pay now. could you please wait for me until I go to bank to get money？"The taxi driver was thinking for a while and he said "OK,I'll take you to the bank."What a nice person he is , she thought. After twenty minutes,they reached the bank she always used. However the taxi driver didn't stop the taxi.Suddenly she felt something bad happening.

Mary noticed that she was being taken to a police station.Then, she said "I 'm not lying! It's the ture story! I forget to bring money." to the driver. However, the driver didn't listion to her at all. She was upset and couldn't find what she should do for a while.

Mary thought she must come back home. She didn't want to stay theren anymore. But at this time , she couldn't do anything. She was crying and shocked. She asked a policeman to get a cell phone and called her boyfriend Tom. A little later,Tom came to the police station and explained what kind of perpson his girlfriend is. He paid the driver. Tom brought Mary's ID card. Then the policeman went to his office and seached the internet. After a while, he came back there and said to them "That's only a misunderstand, you can go now!"

Mary felt sad. That's a bad day. She first went to the police station and lost her new job.

A Trick

When Tom’s alarm clock went off, he got up, took a shower, had his breakfast and headed to work. When he got to work, however, things started to go crazy.

After he went to work, he found that all the company and people were totally different. He seemed to visit a place which he never went to before. Also, he found that all is projects had disappeared. He thought that he must be dreaming, then he closed his eyes. But it wasn’t a dream. It’s was real. He was fired from his company. He wanted to know why he was fired. So, he went to his employer. And then, Tom protested to hid employer. But nothing was changed. So, he had to find a new job.

He was disappointed. He walked on the street for many hours. Suddenly, he heard a strange sound! This sound was terrible and Tom was afraid. He decided to hide himself behind a tree. He looked around and paid a attention “What happened?” Then, Tom saw all his friends, his boss and his colleagues. They all stood in front of him. Then, his girlfriend, Jeanne, said that “Happy birthday, Tom. Because of you always work and no play. Do you remember a proverb “All work and no play make “Tom” a dull boy?” So we make a trick for celebrating your birthday.”

Finally, Tom figured out that he was not fired. Besides, he learned a lesson that he had to work and play in order to enjoy his life and have a better life style.

Yasu Has Another Terrible Weekend!

On Friday, I went to a welcome Party.The reason was to find cute girls, just kidding... There were many new students that were Japanese, of course cute girls too. After talking to the new students, I went to another party and after drinking a little, I returned back home. In my room I watched a Japanese comedy show and fell asleep.

After a long time of not cleaning, on Saturday I spent the day cleaning my house. At night I drank with my friends in their room. At around 2:00 am we decided to go back to our own rooms and sleep. Finally on Sunday because one of my friends are leaving, I made okonomiyaki and takoyaki. Okonomiyaki is a Japanese pancake and takoyaki are little balls filled with octapus that are covered with a special batter. The main point of takoyaki is to make it into a ball, but this is the hardest part and in the end we could not make it well. The taste was still great! Of course, we drank sake along with eating the food. This weekend was really very fun! Reza, lets drink together next time.

Discover Niigata City

I will introduce you to my hometown Niigata. Niigata city is the largest city on the Sea Of Japan coast side.We have Japan's longest river,the Shinano. We also have ibis(natural monument)at sado island.

Niigata city is dividing into two zone. One is "Furumachi". The Furumachi has several old traditional Japanese restaurants. Geisha still go to perform at in this area. Niigata's geisha have been famous for their beauty thoughout Japan since long ago.
The other is "Bandai". This part of Niigata is full of department stores and fashionable shops.They are popular with young people. Bandai Bridge is the symbol of Niigata. The bridge is very old. It was built one hundred years ago.

We have a huge variety of delicious foods. Rice and Sake are particularly famous here. Of course, Niigata is close to Sea Of Japan, we can eat fresh fish everyday. Sushi is the best food I suppose.

In summer, a variety of events take place in. One of them is Niigata Festival. The festival concludes with a giant display of fireworks on the evening. Another big event is the Sea Of Japan Sunset Concert. It is hold on the beach while the sun sets into the sea. There are so many famous singers gather every year for it.

Recently, there are a lot of travelers from another countries. Particularly, korea and Russia. It is only two hours from Niigata to Seoul by airplane.

Mad Cow Disease

Do you know Mad Cow Disease? It is deadly disease. It is a big issue in Korea. Although most Korean citizens object, the Korean government accepted the import of beef from U.S. We didn't want the import, but the Government decided that unilaterally, so many citizens have demonstrated against the government for a long time.

I heard that even American imported beef from the other countries because of this disease. However, the Korean Government chose economical benefit instead of citizen's lives. So I cannot trust our president, I think that the president is citizen's woker, but our president ignored citizen's opinion. The president holds office for 5 years. However, how can Korean citizens believe this President during that time. Also who will support the president who ignores citizen?

I Met a Man

My home stay seems no good, because I sometimes go home by bus. So I plan to change my home stay. My ex-classmate Young-Ha has suggest me a home stay, I have told UCR housing office that I want to move to this home stay.

A day, I stay in student lounge and discuss homework with my classmate. I ask him some questions, suddenly a men replied my question and we start to talk something about both. Ten more minutes later, I told him today I need to go home by bus again because my homestay was busy, he say he has a car and can pick me to my home stay, I say "No thanks", but he doesn't matter about this. Finally, I agree, we walked to his car and back home.

When we was in Freeway, I told him more about my home stay and the reason why I'll change my home stay. He say he stay in a home stay too and told me his home stay seems more better than me. he say he'll has a new roommate comes from Taiwan, I envy that student, because he is more lucky than me that can living in a good home stay.

Few minutes later, he say the date that the new student will move-in, seems the same with me, I asked him, "Is your home mother Gloria?", he say "Yes", Oh.. My God, I'll be your roommate in future, that is very surprise for us. So I ask him to go to his home stay to say hello to that family.

That day, I meet my roommate in future. Next Monday, I'll move to there. I hope I can stay there for a long time, because I don't like to change the house. Maybe there has another problem, I think if both pick-up/drop-off and provide meals are no problem, It is enough. I'll save many time if I don't take bus and prepare my lunch and dinner by myself, I'll have more time to study English. I wish~~

Jay's Birthday Party

Last Friday, My classmate Jay birthday! actually his birthday is August 13. So we celebrate for him early on Friday~ We bought a lot of beer, vodka, pizza and snacks for party. We started the party around 6 p.m. until 12 p.m. Wow~~~so long! But I love it! We didn’t played music. Just talking and drinking and watching Beijing Olympic Opening show! Everyone just waiting them countries player when them into to the stadium!

This is very special experience for me! I never with international students watching Olympic Opening show! So great!
Koon was so funny because he will be bartender tonight! He service for everyone! When someone came room, he always mixes new beer for him/her! We bought a lot of beer but I think not enough for everyone!

Yasu told to Jay: you should change hair and eyebrows, so tonight Yasu will be hair designer. When Yasu already change Jay hair and show us the new style! Everyone was so surprises. Because Jay look very young and look likes Japanese! Everyone told to Jay: you must use hair styling because you are cute guy! Yasu so professional! I really like this hair style. If Jay can use new hair style and come to school! I think! He will be super start here!

Anyway Jay Happy birthday and we need make another party next time!

Something About Me!

How are you today? I am good because Reza gave a chance to me to writing something for posting on the blog, so I'm so so really happy. I really considered what I should write. After I had enough time for eassy, I decided about me like my hobbies, vision or someting.

So now, I will introduce about me. I am David, and real name is Jin Seok, Lee. I was born in Chung-Ju, Korea. Chung ju is middle of Korea. However, I had not grown in Chung ju, for my parents went to Seoul after I was born. Then, I had graduated middle school, high school, and university in Seoul. In university, my major was mechanical engineering. It's interesting but I want to change my major to electronic science. Therefore, when I will go to RCC, Riverside community college, I will choose electronic science as my major. Next, my hobby is watching movie. Therefore, if you want to see a movie, you should call me,only woman. Whenever I will go to a movie with you. I like to be with friends, so I want to make many friends. Something About Betty

My hometown is Hermosillo, Sonora, México

Not many people here know that i´m Architect. I had made several projects in my 3 years of career, but the biggest are 3 buildings close to one beach. Those buildings are up to 10 floors, so… be careful with this girl!

What I do in my free time? I really like to visit all my friends every day! But at the same time, I need time with me alone, for make some drawings, listening some music. You know, I'm a really music freak, who likes to collect thousands of Cds, download music, and make art with them.

Bands that I like: Fiona Apple, Nouvelle Vague, Manu Chao, The Exploited, Mecano, Portishead, The Arcade Fire, Sonic Youth and much more.

Now, my next plan for this year is get finished a book dedicated to "Dad", and special, mine. It has no Title yet, but it will be something like "10 ways to be the best Dad in the world". The only intention is give him (my dad) a special gift for next year.

I want to speak you about the a subject that actually has a great impact in the health human, “Malnutrition”. Malnutrition is a general term for a medical condition caused by an improper or insufficient diet. Micronutrient malnutrition refers to inadequate availability for some essential nutrients such as vitamins and minor elements that are requiered by the body in small quantities.

Micronutrient deficiencies lead to a variety of diseases and impair normal functioning of the body. For example, the deficiency in micronutrients such as Vitamin A is common in developing countries like Africa, Asia and Latin America. It affects million of children in the world and pregnant women. Vitamin A deficiency contributes a night blindness, which is the first sign of deficiency of this vitamin, reduces the capacity of the body to resist different diseases, diminishes the ability to combat infecctions, decreases growth rate, slow bone development, infertility in men and women.

International Center of Agriculture Tropical (CIAT) located in Colombia, is looking for solutions to this problem of health public. Actually, the CIAT is working with Cassava and sweet potato. Cassava in the most important food in the developing countries. Farmes particulary appreciate its strong tolerance of drought and poor soils. Some countries use this crop to obtain cassava’s starch roots for industrial use and how food for animals. CIAT’s scientifics have identified several cassava genotypes with high levels of carotenoids in the roots. The carotenoids have the capacity to convert in vitamin A when we eat foods such as green vegetables, carrot, broccoli, spinach, tomato and fruits as such peach, watermelon, guava, which have high carotenoid contents. Scientifics have used biotechnoloy based techniques to modificated the carotenoids pathway and to increase the nutritional quality of cassava. When the genotypes are obtain, these are propagated in field and they are send to other populations chronically deficient in this vitamin. The consumption of this crop may help to increase the quality life of the people which live in marginal regions.

Finallly, guys, remember a balanced diet, rich in vitamins and minerals is very important for our health.

My New Roommate

I got a new roommate. He, who is come from Spain, is a teenager. The passionate guy likes listen to music, so I always feel that there is concert in my room seemly. However, I am afraid that my neighbor will complain us about noise, so I always tell him take care the volume.

Spain is famous for bullfighting and Flamenco dance, so I ask him about their traditional festival. It is a good chance to know other countries culture. And he always says “before 11 p.m., we can get free beer in night club” every night. He is too crazy, but I have class on Monday to Friday. Hence, I say “ No way” to him. I like go to somewhere with friends, I think that night club may be a good chance to know native friends, but I don’t like get drunk and hangover. Before he leaves, I think I will go to there with him, but just for fun, no alcohol beverage.

Extension is a good place to know many friends from different countries. All you need to do is to open your mind and adopt fresh things. I hope that everyone does not only improve their English but also know many friends here. When you leave UCR, you all will bring good memory back to your country.

My Name is Etienne

My name is Etienne HUMBERT-ZUCCARELLI. I’m French. I live in the East South of France in a city calls NICE. My city is in the French Riviera close to Monaco and St Tropez. In my opinion, French Riviera is more attractive than Paris and the North of my country because in NICE the climate is really hot and we have a very interesting culture and people love have fun time to the beach or to the nightclub. My mother came from Corsica. It’s a beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea, where people are very different than French people (For example they have a different language). Some of them want the independence of the island.

I’m 19 and in September I will go to an International business School in NICE. I have two little brothers and one little sister. In my free time I enjoy playing soccer. I play in a soccer team in my city but next year I will play for my University. Soccer is my favorite sport. In my country is the most popular sport.

I like go to the disco or to the cinema with my friends. I don’t like go shopping with my girlfriend.

My name is Yi-Chih, Yeh. My family name comes from my father. Because of it is a traditional for Taiwanese. However, right now, the government builds a new law that the child can also follow the mother’s family name. In Chinese meaning, Yi-Chih represents to courage. Why my parents want to give me this name? Because they want me to be strong, even when face some difficulties. I am delighted to have my name. According to the name, it gives me the power to face the bad situation. Therefore, I pretty thank you to my parents to give me this special name.

There are five members are there in my family. My father is a very busy businessman. Even he has to do a lot of works; he still takes company with me, especially when I am upset. My mother is a housewife. She likes to make some beautiful clothes in her free time. Besides, she also likes to cook some delicious dishes for me. My sister is still a student. She is going to apply for a exam to enter in the government. She is very good at in the music world. The final special member is mu puppy, Boa. All my family members love Boa so much. Because of I don’t have any young siblings. So, I always pretend that Boa is my little brother.

I live in Taiwan . Taiwan is a beautiful island. Taiwan has a lot of cultures and plenty of delicious food. People in Taiwan always welcome the foreigners. Even some special days, Taiwanese always have some special food to eat. Besides, Taiwanese also play some traditional games in these special days.

I like to surf the Internet .Because of it will give me the newest information. Besides, I like to read some books. It will help me to increase my creature in my drawing. Also, I like to hang around and have a dinner with my friends. Why? Because of I like the moment to being with friends. Therefore, it will make my friends and I relationship stronger. This is the first time I come to America . Hope I will have a nice time here in my following days.

My Last Weekend

Last weekend, I had good party again. Almost every weekend I have party. Last Friday we had party for our 2 friends because it was last weekend in Riverside for them. We supposed to start at 7p.m, but at 7p.m somebody didn’t come to party yet, not somebody, I think almost everybody didn’t . Every time if we make a party we are late. At almost 9p.m we started party, so we were drinking, talking and something. One girl who left here had to leave at 10p.m, so we gave her some t- shirts which we wrote massage for her, and she left the party. And that day was the birthday of guy who also left here, but we just told him, this party was for you and the girl because you guys will leave here, so we make this party. But we already knew that day was his birthday, so we bought birthday cake and some birthday present for him. At 12a.m we sang birthday song and gave him some present. And we put on the cream on his face, but it was not only him, all people put on the cream on theyre face. We had a really good time. Everybody was laughing, drunk, took a good picture and something.

Family : There are five including me Father, Mother, brother and sister. My father and Mother are 63 years old. Father’s job is lending a building. And my mother is a house wife. Hometown : I live in Bundang near the Seoul . The Bundang is a small town. The population is about 500 thousand. The mountains are around the city and many park in the city.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I usually sleep or I go to the theater whit my girl friend. I like watching comic and action but she like watching romantic or romantic comedy. Recently we went to the theater together and watch the ‘Wanted".

My name is Jung A Yang . But it is difficult to pronunciate. Just call me Lucia. I am from Korea. Korea has the four unique seasons. My hometown is Seoul where is small city. The Seoul is bloomed and crowded with people. But I think that Seoul is beautiful city in Korea because of beautiful night views .Especially Han River is the best.

Now I introduced myself and my family. There are five members in my family: my father, my mother, my older sister , me and ToTo who is my dog. My family is on good terms. My parents are kind and fun. Father is an artist who is painting and crafting. Also my mother major is art. They met each other in their university and fell in love with each other. My sister is 4 years older than I. She is a graduate student . Her major is the visual design . I think that my sister and my major are influenced by career of parents. So my major is interior architecture which is kind of design.

You guys know me. I’m Kafka. Even though some of other class students don’t know me, it’s doesn’t matter because you will know and recognize me by this post. So “DO open your mind” and please don’t “STALK” me.

Ok. Let me introduce myself. My name is Kafka. It’s the same name as Franz Kafka, and it means black birds, crows. I really like whole something black like crows. Crows are definitely lonely bird because in the world, crow is recognized bad metaphor. I was kind of lonely person, outsider and nobody like me before. Anyway my name is Kafka. Sounds really great, isn’t it?

I have father, mother, older brother, and my dog. My father is very calm. I don’t know why he is calm. It’s ok, but I have never heard about my father’s history. That’s why my father has something weird to me. My mother is really kind and thoughtful. I remember a few really impressible memories in my life with my mother. sorry, it’s too long story, so pass!! My older brother, he is too much different from me. We have too many different types of clothes, food, girls, etc… I don’t think my brother is not real brother. It’s like something fake. He is so different from me. Last, my dog, DDOL, he is my dog. My dog is very similar to human. And he has very similar eyes to my mother’s eyes. His eyes are very beautiful and his hair is white and black. I like my dog but sometimes I beat my dog because he sometimes looks down on me. Shook…… I’m so sad!!!! I’m older than him and I fed him when he was baby!!!!!! I threw away his poop!!!!! Oh, what a rude my younger brother is. But I love him.

My major is making film and motion graphic, but I study making music. I really like something in motion. Think about music and motion graphic. Music is time arts. Music has to use time. And that’s not forever. Immediately when we listen to some phases in the music, It’s disappeared by time, very short time, but it’s really good. Second, motion graphic has really something exciting. All motion has rhythm by feeling based on emotion, and motion visually expresses human's feeling. That's why I love motion graphics, films, and music.

Hello, nice to meet you. I’m Yohei Yamamoto. I’m from Ibaraki-City Osaka, Japan.

I’m living with my family in Japan . I have father, mother, a younger sister, a grandmother AND a dog.

My hometown, Ibaraki-City, is located north of Osaka and it has a big Matsushita’s (Panasonic) factory. I can go the downtown of Osaka only 25 minutes by train. I often go there to buy clothes and books. Also I can go the downtown of Kyoto only 35 minutes by train.

I usually watch laugh-in in my free time or play video games. I especially like baseball and shooting game software. Also I like playing and watching baseball so I sometimes play catch with my friends when I’m free.

Abdullah's Weekend

Last weekend I went to Rancho Cucamonga to my new house with my friend and we had fun there and we made a big dinner party also we invite our friends and I think I have a lot of homework but I didn’t do it; I know that’s too bad for student like me so next time I hope I’ll do my homework.

First , I was really tired because I have to do some stuff at my house; for example clean the garage , kitchen, the 3 living rooms and the backyard. Also, today I have to call the net wire cable to came to install for the internet. as you know the most important things in there days the internet because you can order pizza online and whatever you want. Moreover yesterday I try to came to school but I could not because I went to sleep at 4:00 am. So that’s why I didn’t came and I know I miss the writing class so much because it’s everyday interesting, funny sometime and also the teacher he is the perfect teacher I met him. so this is my story about my weekend.
